Young people looking to become “the next billionaire” are being encouraged to consider a career in agriculture.

That suggestion comes from a Kenyan university student who said he has been inspired after participating in a youth forum in Nairobi held parallel to the latest conference of the UN trade and development body, UNCTAD.

Stephen Mokoro , who attends Strathmore University in Kenya, told Assumpta Massoi it is youth who will make the world a better place, provided they are given adequate skills and training.
