The issue of “working poverty” is a serious problem for young people especially in the developing world, according to the International Labour Organization (ILO).

“Working poverty” describes people who have jobs that pay so little they can barely survive.

The ILO says there are some 235 million youth globally who fall into this category, in addition to the 73 million who have no job at all.
