Hepatitis claims approximately 1.5 million lives each year more than the number of people who die from AIDS, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
Hepatitis is a viral disease which is curable, but is deadly unless detected early
WHO will be marking World Hepatitis Day on July 28th to spread global awareness about the disease.
Stefan Wiktor, Global Hepatitis Programme Leader for WHO, explained to Laura Jarriel the extent of the issue.
