Rohingya refugees like "all of us" are searching for "a normal life in safety and in dignity."

That's according to Ravina Shamdasani, from the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR).

A new report from OHCHR on Monday, submitted to the UN Human Rights Council, urged the new government in Myanmar to take "concrete steps" to put an end to their "systemic discrimination".

Myanmar is home to the large Rohingya Muslim minority, which together with other minorities has suffered what OHCHR describes as a "wide range of human rights violations and abuses" for many years.

Ms Shamdasani, spoke to Deganit Perez.
