One of the most celebrated African footballers of all time says that football can be the “common denominator” for peace on the continent and further afield.

Kalusha Bwalya from Zambia was at UN Headquarters in New York to take part in an event to showcase the importance of sport in building peace and development.

Daniel Dickinson met the 1998 African Footballer of the Year on a five-aside pitch specially built for the occasion.
