“Winning” war against HIV/AIDS, says UN head of agency

We are winning the war against HIV/AIDS but countries need to stay focused, the head of the agency dedicated to fight the epidemic has said.
UNAIDS chief Michel Sidibé made the remarks ahead of a two-day High-Level meeting on ending AIDS in New York.
New HIV infections have fallen by 35 per cent and AIDS-related deaths by 41 per cent.
And more than 15 million people today are on anti-retroviral treatment.
Reem Abaza asked Mr Sidibé what he aims to achieve with this meeting.
