Italian chef supports farmers’ fight against climate change

Rising temperatures and unpredictable rainfall are threatening rice and other essential food crops in southern Cambodia, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) reports.
The UN agency is helping some 90,000 farmers there to implement low-cost technology and more efficient farming practices to build their resilience to these changes in climate.
Renowned Italian chef Carlo Cracco recently travelled to the region to assist IFAD in bringing attention to their plight.
