People around the world are being encouraged by the UN to get passionate about the power of the pulse…that’s pulse as in peas, beans and lentils.
A number of international top chefs have got together with the help of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization to produce a cook book featuring what the FAO is calling, “one of the world’s most versatile super foods.”
The book’s title is Pulses, nutritious seeds for a sustainable future. It’s being launched to coincide with the International Year of Pulses.
Sandra Ferrari has been talking to Sile Obroin, one of the FAO’s lead coordinators for the publication.
