“Go and be happy!” it’s not only a trend but a way of life that David Rodriguez of the Marriot International Hotel and style guru Stacy London are calling for.

Marriot says it has put the happiness and well-being of its employees first, making the 2016 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

Mr Rodriguez credits this programme with saving his life a few years ago when he contracted leukaemia.

They were panel members at a UN event on Happiness and Gender Equality.

Jocelyne Sambira spoke to them both and began by asking Ms London to describe the link between happiness and gender equality.
