Time is running out on farmers and herders in Ethiopia who are struggling to feed a country caught in the grip of a major drought.

That warning comes from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) which says successive crop failures mean that 10.2 million people there are not getting enough to eat.

With Ethiopia’s main agriculture season fast approaching, the UN agency continues to appeal for US$50 million to assist smallholder farmers and cattle farmers with producing food for the coming months.
