A radio network dedicated to serving the needs of refugees in Europe is expanding fast throughout the continent, and "the sky's the limit."

That's the upbeat message from the founder of Refugee Radio Network, Nigerian-born Larry McCauley, in a special interview with the UN's cultural organization, UNESCO, in honour of World Radio Day 2016.

Larry's journey took him from Nigeria, to Libya; then on to Italy, and finally to Germany, where his life-long love of radio and desire to help fellow refugees, came together to create a powerful new voice of empowerment.

UNESCO's Alison Meston, joined him on air, and he told her how the network got off the ground.
