Ethical considerations need to play a more “central role” in the implementation of the global Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs.

That’s the hope of a coalition of countries who co-sponsored a meeting at UN headquarters on Wednesday, to put ethics at the heart of the drive towards the ambitious development goals, agreed last September.

And the meeting heard that despite unprecedented collaboration, many businesses still need key ethical reforms.
