The recent political accord paving the way for a unity Government in Libya is "not open for renegotiating," according to the UN representative for the country.

Martin Kobler was in Libya over the New Year's holiday, just weeks after the signing of the deal aimed at bringing an end to more than four years of conflict.

Mr Kobler met with representatives of the country's two rival governments: the General National Congress (GNC) based in Tripoli in the west, and the House of Representatives in the eastern city of Tobruk.

Speaking from Tunisia, he told Reem Abaza about ongoing efforts to move forward on implementing the Libyan Political Agreement.
