Africa’s strong economic growth in recent years has led to more foreign direct investment from countries like China; that’s according to a researcher at one of the most established think-tanks in the United States.

David Dollar, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, says while Chinese foreign investment in Africa is increasing, it still lags behind other countries.

Bruce Edwards asked Mr Dollar what role China is playing on the continent.
