Addressing climate change will be more expensive if delayed

The issue of climate change needs to be addressed now otherwise it will become increasingly more expensive and more difficult to tackle, according to a senior UN envoy.

The international community is due to meet in Paris, France, in December in order to agree a universal deal which, among other goals, will include keeping global temperature rises below two degrees Celsius.

Janos Pasztor is the Assistant Secretary-General on climate change.

Stephanie Coutrix asked him about the significance of the conference.
