Young people have the power to make a lasting impact on ending extreme poverty and addressing climate change, according to the World Bank.

Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund are taking place in in Lima, Peru, where issues including the new global development goals are being discussed.

World Bank President Jim Yong Kim has been speaking to Pabsy Pabalan.

She began by asking him why young people should be involved in raising awareness about the twin challenges of poverty and climate change.
