“Triple-win” strategy will help end hunger by 2030

Learning new ways to farm will help make hunger a thing of the past, according to a World Bank agricultural development expert.

The World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) are holding their annual meeting in Peru this week, following the adoption of ambitious new global development goals.

A so-called “triple win” is possible, meaning greater productivity, growing more resilient crops, and reducing environmental impact, said Ethel Sennhauser, Director of the Agriculture Global Practice at the World Bank.
