The UN has strongly condemned the airstrike on a hospital in the Afghan city of Kunduz on Saturday, which has left at least 22 people dead.

The facility was the only hospital in the war-torn city, where Taliban fighters are grappling for control with Afghan government forces, backed by coalition air-power.

It was run by the medical relief agency, Médecins Sans Frontières, which said on Sunday it was now pulling out the city.

Matthew Wells spoke to the UN Special Representative in Afghanistan, Nicholas Haysom, and began by asking what the mood was like there.
