Forests are essential to life on our planet, food security and tackling climate change.

That’s according to Jeffrey Campbell, manager of the forest and farm facility of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO).

Mr Campbell is in Durban, South Africa, until 11 September for the World Forestry Congress, meeting under the theme “Forests and People: Investing in a Sustainable Future”
