A grassroots blitz to educate everyone on the planet about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within one week will kick off on 25 September when the SDGs are adopted at the UN.

That’s according to English filmmaker Richard Curtis, the creator of “Project Everyone” – which aims to involve the world’s 7 billion people in the global targets to end extreme poverty and tackle climate change over the next 15 years.

Mr Curtis has written romantic comedy films such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Bridget Jones's Diary and Notting Hill, and is also the founder of the British charity Comic Relief.
