A campaign to end modern slavery launched by the UN is gathering pace in Geneva.
The International Labour Organization’s initiative “50 for Freedom” has the goal of reaching 50 ratifications of the ILO’s Protocol on Forced Labour.
The protocol, adopted by the UN last year, aims to address gaps in implementation of the convention.
It’s estimated that 21 million people are victims of forced labour around the world.
