A lack of money and trained staff is hampering the response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in South Sudan, according to the UN.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced by the conflict between government and opposition forces that began in December 2013.

The UN office for the coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA, says it needs to provide those displaced people with basic items such as clean water, food, medicine and seeds for planting crops.

Ivana Mousa has been speaking to Vincent Lelei, head of OCHA in South Sudan about the current humanitarian situation.
