Economic theory is admittedly not the most popular of topics among non-academics, but everyone can benefit from understanding it.

Finding ways to make the study of economics more accessible and interesting to the public has been the focus of the economist Russ Roberts.

Mark Bettancourt met with Mr Roberts at the International Monetary Fund to discuss how he uses storytelling, and even rap music to attract people to learn about complicated topics such as fiscal policy.
