Youth rights should be translated into action and not remain on paper.

That’s what the Vice Chairperson of the Advisory Council on Youth said during the First Global Forum on Youth Policies in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Hanan Bihi sits on the Council of Europe’s Advisory Council on Youth which is made up of 30 representatives from youth NGOs and networks.

The Forum reviewed 20 years of policies to identify the gaps.

Basma Bitar-Baghal spoke with Ms Bihi and began by asking what his role is on the Advisory Council.
