Japan needs a central structure so that the voices of young people can be taken into account, according to a Japanese delegate to a major conference on youth policies.

Yukari Kayama is attending the Global Youth Forum which is under way this week in Baku, Azerbaijan.

She said the government of Japan is doing what she described as “very good” research on youth issues.
