Women in South Sudan have unveiled an agenda for peace and sustainable development which includes the voices and aspirations of women from the country’s ten states.

The release of agenda which was unveiled at Juba University in the country’s capital, coincides with the break in peace talks between the South Sudan government and the opposition rebel forces.

Political in-fighting between President Salva Kiir and his former deputy, Riek Machar, escalated into a full-fledged conflict in December last year.

Regina Gorle spoke to Dr. Priscilla Jospeh, Chairperson of the South Sudanese Women’s Peace Network to find out more.
