Feeding people who are on the run and making sure they safely get the commodities they need was on the agenda of a forum on global food security.

Experts in the world food system are meeting, at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome, Italy, this week.

The 41st session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is a forum where debates are held on policies that can help reduce food insecurity.

The side event, held on Tuesday, discussed the issue of women and food security in times of both conflict and peace.
