Terrorist attack in northern Mali kills 9 peacekeepers: UN

Terrorists have been blamed for an attack on a United Nations convoy in north-east Mali on Friday morning, in which 9 peacekeepers were killed.

Olivier Salgado, the Spokesperson for the UN Mission in Mali, MINUSMA said a rocket-propelled grenade or RPG was fired from a motorcycle, hitting the convoy

The soldiers who died were all from Niger.

Jocelyne Sambira asked Mr Salgado what happened.
