Men in the Philippines are actively engaged in their communities to tackle gender-based violence, according to the Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the UN. Ambassador Libran N. Cabactulan was referring to MOVE, a leading men’s group involved in gender advocacy since 2006.

At a UN event to encourage people to help end sexual violence in conflict, he shared with Jocelyne Sambira his country’s efforts to advance gender equality through the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).
