Grassroots women and policy makers are gathering in Nairobi, Kenya on Monday to discuss coping with the challenges of climate change.

The Workshop to Build Resilience to Combat Climate Change and Disasters is supported by the UN Development Programme (UNDP).

Lucy Wanjiru Njagi, Programme Specialist for Environment, Gender and Climate Change at UNDP spoke to  Derrick Mbatha about what she hoped would be achieved at the three-day meeting.
