Countries around the world are being urged to use an international database of stolen travel documents as a way to counter terrorism.

INTERPOL, the international police organization which manages the database, says that around 400 million individuals travel around the world on documents that are stolen or reported lost.

It’s warning that they may be used by criminals or terrorists.

Jean-Paul Laborde, Executive Director of the UN Counter-terrorism Committee, has been speaking to Isabelle Dupuis.
