Guinea-Bissau prepares for “most important” elections

Guinea-Bissau is preparing to go to the polls on Sunday for what have been described by a senior UN official as the West African country’s “most important” elections.
The presidential and parliamentary polls, which have been postponed several times, are seen as a crucial step on the path to restoring constitutional order in Guinea-Bissau as it recovers from an April 2012 coup.
José Ramos-Horta is the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Guinea-Bissau.
Monica Grayley asked him what the mood was like ahead of the election.
