The recent conflict in South Sudan has caused the mass displacement of people as they try to find a safe refuge away from the fighting.

Many families have been split up in the confusion and fear that often accompanies instability caused by armed violence.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has reconnected more than 650 people with their families through telephone calls and phone text messages.

David Lukan spoke to the spokesperson of the International Committee for the Red Cross, Jacob Kurtzer in Juba.
