UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon briefed the Security Council on Monday on the findings of the report of the UN mission looking into chemical weapons use in Syria.

Meanwhile, the International Commission of Inquiry on Syria has announced that it too will conduct an investigation, this time to establish who was behind the 21 August chemical weapons attack in Damascus.
