World Food Programme (WFP) Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, Amir Abdulla has wrapped up a two-day visit to Syria in which he saw first-hand the hardship endured by Syrians as a result of the raging conflict that has engulfed the country.

In a conversation with UN Radio’s Reem Abaza, Mr. Abdulla describes the situation on the ground and the challenges faced by UN aid agencies.
