Ahmad Alhendawi is the newly-appointed and first ever UN Secretary-General Envoy for Youth.

He’s got a wide-ranging, far-reaching, important job to speak for the concerns, aspirations and accomplishments of the world’s young people.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon believes young people everywhere deserve the power to get information, to connect and to ask hard questions.

It is Mr. Alhendawi’s job to see that that happens. He was interviewed about his new role by UN Radio’s Basma Baghall.
