Two famous women use their celebrity to advance humanitarian causes.

Angelina Jolie returned to the rural areas of Ecuador for her first mission in her new role as Special Envoy of the High Commissioner for Refugees. She has worked with UNHCR for more than 10 years.

Selena Gomez took to twitter to spread the word about the hunger crisis in the Sahel region of Africa in her role as a UNICEF Ambassador. The 19 year old has worked with the UN Children’s Fund since 2009.
